EL CAMINO A CASA / W DRODZE DO DOMU

Mural painted in memory of the polish refugees that Mexico received during the Second World War in the Hacienda Santa Rosa, Guanajuato.

Installed in the No.93 primary school of Krakow, Poland, this mural remembers the decorous manner in which our country treated the polish refugees so that it serves as an example for next generations. Symbolically returns one of the 300 orphans that lived in Sta. Rosa back to her birthplace surrounded by Otomie's motifs, the representative indigenous community of Guanajuato, showing all that she learned during her exile.

In the inauguration took part the honorary Consul from the mexican embassy in Krakow Mr. Janusz P. Postolko, the director of the school and part of the student body.
